My 1.9tdi has just clocked 90k miles and there are a few things need doing to it. I'm considering doing some of the work myself instead of using the local garage(first time for 10 years) so can anyone point me at a "how to" for changing the cabin/pollen filter, the oil and filter, and I may look at doing the cambelt and water pump myself unless the consensus on here says leave it to a garage/specialist. What else should be done with the cambelt - tensioners pulleys etc. etc.? Where is the best place to buy the parts main dealer or online somewhere? What is the recommended oil for longlife service intervals?

Also looking at the service book, what is a diesel particulate filter which needs changing at 95k miles and how do I change it?

Thanks in advance

Parts are good from TPS
Pollen filter accessed below glovebox on passenger side
