Thing is, you have to find somewhere within 15 miles (as the crow flies?) prepared to write you a quote - I suspect most places these days will know why you're asking too and don't expect to get the business...

I was successful with mine second time around. I found a place that gave me an email quote stating they would use Audi parts. My Audi dealer said this was not normally enough but since that garage bought their parts directly from that Audi dealer, they were willing to match. It sounds like you have to jump through a lot of hoops to actually be successful.

Service prices vary wildly from dealer to dealer, much to my surprise!
