Hi
I have recently bought a 2014 Audi a3 saloon.

The servicing is due, but I do not know anything about the car in all honesty.

Is the servicing done and stamped on a logbook like every other car or is it now some sort of electrical system?
If its an electrical system, will it matter if I go to an Audi Specialist rather than a dealership that costs a fortune?

Many Thanks
Tan

I didnt get one with mine and told its electronic, I have mind done at another dealer and they have it on thier system but I still insist on a paper copy for my own piece of mind.

I use an Audi specialist and he updates the service done on the Audi digital service history website. I also keep all the receipts he gives me, I sold my S3 to a sports car specialist and he was more than happy just to see the receipts and he gave me more for the car than Audi would by px it!!!

Another method,I go to a trusted indy who is not on the electronic system but I bought a service book to get the stamps and backed up by all of the receipts. Not had any problem with that system when trading in.

I'm hoping it goes on Audi's electronic system tbh, that's my worry actually it doesn't.
I will go to Total VAG. It's close by, 5-star reviews, and my friend recommends them.
Looking to keep the car at least 5 years anyway.

Just phone them and ask if they update the online system that Audi use. But if you are keeping if 5 years anyway I wouldn't be worried, as long as the services are done and you are happy with the work that's the main thing. Keep all the receipts in a folder and when you come to sell a lot of Audi enthusiast know that the Indy does a better job most of the time anyway.

so I just had the servicing done, and they updated the online system + give receipt papers.
Out of curiosity how do I check the online system? I could not find it anywhere on myAudi

this is my route https://login.audi.com/ once logged in click the service tab under the picture of your car. then just click 'Show service schedule'.
