Hi,

Looking ahead at getting the S3 booked in for it's 80K service and cam belt changed.

So far I have been quoted:

'Full' service (inc plugs, filters) : £210.00 inc VAT
Cambelt and water pump : £324.00 inc VAT
Haldex oil and filter : £90.00 inc VAT

All prices include parts and labour.

Do they seem fair for an independant garage? If not, can anybody suggest what would be.

Is there anything else worth considering with this service? Gearbox oil change? Fuel filter change?

Many thanks,

ICE

I paid £75 for a long life service from an Audi Specialist. They did a very good job and replaced the air/pollen filters too. All genuine parts including the oil (all parts checked out by me and all work done in front of me).

If you were closer they would give you a cracking price on all of the above!

It's not a bad price for an Indy, can you not get a further discount getting it done all at once?

Based on an Indy with a decent rep, I'd pay those prices personally.
