Service interval display.

Right this is starting to do my head in now. No matter how I reset the service interval display it always comes up with the correct mileage (9900) but it only ever comes up with 60 days. I've tried a snap on launch, hella gutman and vagcom to no avail so every two months or so the dash comes up with "service".
Anyone got any idea how to change the days?

Don't you have to run car for a few days to it sorts it self out

Hava you tried resetting it using the buttons on the dash as per the manual?
Should initially come up with ----, then after a few days it will tell you the remaining mileage and days..

Yes and yes, the service display resets itself fine but the days are always wrong.

It does my head in when it comes up too, as it's never when mine needs doing.
I changed mine with vcds when I first did it as I do mine every 5k, but it still resets to come up every 10k.

I just aligned my service changes up with the dash (125k, 130k, 135k, etc) so I know it needs doing without checking the history, or relying on the indicator.

This can be done using the SRI reset using VCDS - you can set the number of days.

Yeah I changed the date to the maximun, and the distance to 5k, but it still says 10k when reset.
