I bought an A3 Saloon Sline 1.4 a few months ago I am the second owner and love it however I noticed I don’t have a service book I have a print out of the services and can see it all on the app. I asked my Audi dealer who sold me the car and they told me you don’t get one it’s all held at Audi. Can anyone confirm this as it seems very strange to me.

Yes, no service book anymore. You should have a booklet where you can keep all your printed service receipts/a4 sheets.

Service books are so last year:hi:

Thanks for confirming I shall try and drag myself into the brave new world :grinning:

I used an Audi specialist for my second service, they gave me a duplicate Audi service book with their stamp in it, I then took that book back to the main dealers to get them to stamp it to say they did my first service ;)

Surprised they never charged you about £100 to stamp your book!

lol I just walked up to the guy on the service desk and said something along the lines of "Hi, you did my first service for me, I've managed to get a duplicate service book, would you mind putting your stamp in it please?", he smiled and was more than helpful, got his stamp opened the page and saw the 2nd service stamp done by the specialist...his face changed to not looking very happy about it :D Still got the stamp though :)

My specialist updated my online service book and I downloaded and copied it .
