Well after searching for a sprint blue sportback for a few weeks, I noticed a sepang blue s3 on the Audi used car search, I think it had been in the dealership for a day and they had about 10 people interested, after putting a deposit down to secure the car before anyone got there, went for a test drive and obviously a deal was done. Anyway here's some pics, hopefully I'll pick it up next week after the wheels have been refurbed.

It's definitely a very rare color on 8P.

No build thread for now, but may kick one off just to keep a record of the many mods :) The first post will likely be an essay though :)

Loving the colour - is it manual or s-tronic?

Make sure they do a decent job of the rotor refurbs, they need to go to a specialist.

Spend your money on a stage 1 remap over an intake all day long! Then ARBs. Then go for a downpipe with a sports cat.

Thanks, it's s-tronic

I'm buying it from an Audi dealership and they are sending the alloys off to someone they use for refurbing so should come back mint, I've got a 3 year smart repair warranty so should be covered for 3 years.

I've already spoken to a local company about a stage 1 map, but going to wait and see if revo do their normal Xmas 20% off deal, I got the intake an arbs on a good deal so couldn't resist. I'll be saving up for a full exhaust system after that.

Thanks mate, really pleased I found this colour. I've got a lot planned for the car. This forum is bad for my bank balance lol. Every time I read someone else's build thread there's always something else I think that'll look good on my car.

Currently thinking about getting a bcs down pipe and sports cat then getting revo stage 2 and bypass stage 1.

spoken to bcs yesterday about down pipe and sports cat, will hopefully be ordering next week.

Nice! Not that I need it, but would they offer the rest of their powervalve system if you ever decide to upgrade to that?

Yes, the down pipe and sports cat come with a connecting pipe so it can be connected to the standard cat back, Then when you buy the rear power valve section you just remove the connecting pipe and connect the down pipe and rear power valve section up.

Thanks all, I should have a cam coat revo intake and H & R arbs waiting for me at work tomorrow. I'm from Cambridge Alex and been to amd a few times with my old pd170 btcc leon

fast forward to 40 seconds excuse the smoke lol.

I was thinking of getting a bcs down pipe and sports cat then revo stage 2 but after the drive home, may just go for a stage 1 map and get used to that over winter while saving to go stage 2+.

Small update, the car is booked in at aks tuning on the 26th Jan for fitting the downpipe, h&r arbs, auto tech fuel pump internals and rs4 valve, then it'll be off to r-tech for a stage 2+ map, going to be a long 2 months wait.

What a people's on the pcv delete? Does it need doing before mapping or can it wait.

Good luck with that! Should be good fun after those mods :)

You shouldn't need a pcv delete unless yours is on the way out. I lasted for almost a year on stg2+ and no issues.

I'm only doing it now because of sales and LVS were doing a good deal on Forge kit :)

Ha it should make for an interesting drive. I was originally just going to do a stage 2 map but if it's only the fuel pump that's extra then may as well just go stage 2+.

The pcv seems fine on my car, I was looking at r-techs full delete kit. It includes a boost tap as I'm going to put a boost gauge in one of the vents, I've ordered the osir mount from the tt-shop.
