Hi all, had the EML on for a few weeks now. Took it to the garage the day after it first came on and they diagnosed an air filter fault, replaced the filter, but they said the light still wasn’t going out.

Took it for a service last week, with the EML still on, and this time they’ve said it’s a sensor fault.

They’ve advised a sensor (somewhere) in the car is making the car think it’s going 159mph and thus the car is managing the air flow etc accordingly.

The impact on driving is very minimal. Gear changes (down only) are noticeably clunkier than previous. And when driving slow with just the engine pulling the car forward, the car bucks like a learner driver changing gears.

Any thoughts/experience of such a fault?

Garage have so far advised taking it directly to Audi to get them to diagnose.
