Select car leasing S3 tracking

    Just ordered an S3 Sportback Black Edition S-Tronic via select car leasing on a cracking deal a couple of weeks ago.
    I’ve had the email to confirm it’s factory order yet after asking for the tracking Info i feel like they are not wanting to give me this after an email from them.

    My wife ordered a q3 few months ago from our local dealer and got the tracking info within days of ordering with them.

    Just wondered if anybody else had any previous experience with them and had successfully received the tracking info to keep an eye on its progress.

    iirc we had a tracking number within hours of ordering the S3 saloon - Jan 2016.
    Salesman phoned to let me know what it was.

    I ordered through Select last year, sent an email 2wks after ordering asking for order number and had it within 30mins.

    Email was to updates@selectcarleasing.co.uk

    It was the support team that dealt with it rather than sales team.
    Typical salesman though never heard from him again after he got my order processed, not even a follow up call after delivery from anyone at Select. Was disappointed with that if I’m honest.

    Thanks I’ll give that a try had no reply what so ever from the sales guy after I paid my deposit. Typical sales person.

    Thought I’d give this a bit of an update I still have no tracking number for the S3, I spoke to select car leasing on Monday and apparently I still don’t have an allocated build slot for the the vehicle. I ordered it with them 5 weeks ago, surely this can’t be right.

    Anybody else had this long of a delay for a allocated slot order through a lease company or through the dealership? Keep thinking I’m been fobbed off and it’s making we wanna cancel and go elsewhere.

    I ordered my S3 with select car leasing last month and have just asked for the order number if available on the select car leasing portal, but sent it direct to the dealer on the recipient options. Will let you know what they come back with.

    Thanks for reply, on my portal it seems I can only send a message to select only, no other option in the recipient drop down. Do you know if you have an allocated build slot yet?

    I have the dealer as a recipient for some reason. I'm not sure, I have requested an order number from the dealer, just waiting to hear back. On the portal next to your status do you have "on order"? That's all I seem to have at the moment.

    Status does indeed still say in order but my recipient list is just select car leasing and not like yours will the dealer option. I’ll attach a photo to show you. I asked if you had a build allocation cos maybe that’s why you can message the dealer and I can’t as I don’t have one. I ordered mine 1st November so thought I would have one by now.

    Oh that's strange, not sure why I have the option to message them. I ordered mine on the 8th of November and the guy I dealt with said that he wasnt sure if the special offer was still on due to quite a few orders so wasn't 100% if they had an allocations left from Audi. He came back to me the day later to say all confirmed etc.

    Im not that worried about tracking the order though as my current company car was leased and they didn't give any order number or anything to track it and all worked out perfect. Fingers crossed it'll be fine with the s3.
