Anyone who has or had done the secondary decat on 2016 rs3 realise after it that the valves would rattle more?
Obviously with more pressure being put through them without the cats, I’m getting a rattle under load. It’s got to the point that I just cannot live with it. It sounds like a faint bag of hammers when under load especially going up a hill. It started happening after valve controller fitted and secondary decat pipes.
I’ve had the car checked and the guys think it’s the valves rattling more but cannot be 100% certain.
I’m honestly considering putting the cats back In if it stops it. Shame because the car sounded so much louder with them out.
Any thoughts or experiences?
