i have found some ecu,s on flea bay that are stating they have had the revo stage 1 map.
my question is could i fit this into my mk1 tt when i get it ?
revo stage 1 map=£350 or an already mapped ecu with the immobiliser code removed £150.
would i get problems or errors at all?
sorry for so many questions but im really not very clued up on the audi tuning scene.
oh apparantly the ecu,s can have the immobiliser left active as well.
cheers.

anyone ? i dont wanna break the car :disrelieved:
It’s mapped to another car buddy but I guess if it’s the same spec etc it should be fine just take it to a local garage and get the emissions checked and maybe get some to log on the vcds what it’s like on boost etc personally I would say it was fine if car is the same spec

There are several people selling immo disabled ECU's with stage 1 and 2 maps for the 1.8t . Part of the remapping process should be to check the car over before it's mapped. Any tuner should run the car and check for issues such as boost leaks, misfires, N75 issues , fuel pressure problems etc.
running a map o a car that has existing issues, and a lot of these cars do as they are old, can lead to engine / turbo issues that you wouldn't otherwise see.
