Seat belt chime

Had an intermittent issue just recently where the seatbelt chime goes off randomly when driving. Its the one that goes off if you un buckle the seat belt whilst driving along. It normally happens when moving position in the seat, then again it doesn't at all.

Im just assuming its the buckle thats on its way out, just wondered if anyone else has had the same issue before. Looks to be a cheap enough fix, a replacement is around £20 on fleabay.

Cheapeast solution Alex is to just turn off the chime in vcds, it will never chime again, turned mine off a long time ago as i don't need a chime to remind me about seat belts.

Fair enough Rob, did think about that actually. Might have a play next time I've got tge VCDS out

Check the connector's under the seat, belt clips dont often go tbh, usually wiring under.
