SD Card Question

Gents,

Have an SD card for the head unit which works fine and has been formatted to FAT32 etc.

Recently deleted the tunes I had on it to put more on. I deleted them on my computer and then dragged and dropped the new selection.

When I put the card in my car though I only get four of the tracks showing up??

Why is this? I have re-done the loading on the computer twice now and the tracks all show up on the card when it is plugged into my computer. Put it in the car though and only 4 show up!

Must be something simple i'm missing (i know, a brain)

Any similarities between the files that dont show? Eg their size. Odd characters or spacing in the file name? Perhaps file name length? Have you checked that they are all using .mp3 file extention?

Had the same a few weeks ago, it sometimes appears when you put mp3 files into another folder...

I formated my sd card and put files again on it, and it was ok

So I think what you need is a good format for your sd card
