Scrap Value??

Have just been to local scap yard and spoken to the owner about what he would give me for my sisters old Tigra, Snaped cambelt and rotton as ****, mot fail sheet 3 pages long, Given me 150 quid and he has picked it up at that.

I could not belive it so snapped his hand off, Never scraped a car before so whats the going rate?

I took mixed mild steel into a scrappy and got £110/ tonne so 150 collected is an excellent rate. Thats why all the pikeys are robbing any metals they can get their hands on even if its copper cable still attached to the nation grid or gas pipe piped up to the mains
