Yea Convoy sound good to me

I can get yous at deer park :)

Got the week before the show off work, so i got lots of time to clean the car.

Wee convoy sounds good to me...probably easiest for me to try and join up at Harthill. unless anyone else is going the M80 route

I will probably meet up at Harthill as have to go and pick up Lady Susan Montague-Smillie-Summers from her palace. I will be wearing my balaclava for obvious reasons.

I notice there was a lot of chat on Facebook last night about this now being full and a reserve list being made - think there's a fair few unhappy clubs out there.

We're definitely booked up and confirmed though yeah??

Was the same on my Facebook haha panic is setting in due to not reserving a space so well done to us for being so organised and a big special thanks to Martin for organizing.

Only thing we are waiting to hear about now is which hall we are in everything else is a definite so once Martin has this info he will be pass it on.

Susan x

Nice one....Marty, Im having probs getting in touch with Norman who has the UR Quatrro. I have popped up a post on the UR Quatrro section and on the Crieff Audi meet on Facebook but no replies yet. I will keep on it and let you know. We need him to either contact me as he has my business card or you because he might not know the change of venue yet. He might still be under the impression its at Ingliston

I've been PMing him through audisrs, and told him about the venue change but not heard if he's still able to make the SECC.

Well good news and bad news - Norman is still planning on coming along, but his car had a disagreement with a shed and now needs a windows out respray so won't be on the stand. However, the quattro club being a tight-knit community, he's already penciled in a replacement from his friend John so the stand will still have an Ur on display.

I bet Norman is fizzin'. It wasn't long back from the paint shop when it was @ Crieff aswell....Oh well. At least we have our UR Quattro.

He didn't sound very happy, and tone is pretty hard to get from writing. Solid effort from him already having a back-up sorted though, what a star.

Update number 5... maybe...

Sharon emailed me earlier to say that due to the unprecedented interest in club stand space, they are offering clubs that got in early the chance to book out-door space instead of in the hall. It's a VERY limited time offer, and if the outdoor space isn't all taken in the next 24 hours then they'll start offering it to the stand-by list.

So, a vote I guess, who wants to be outside (we'll probably be allowed the tent) and who is happier being inside? It's mainly just a gamble on the weather, but be quick with your votes as I'll be putting forward out outdoor bid tomorrow evening, or not if that's the way the votes land.

Martay, Think i would like inside as you say the weather is the factor in this, hot inside or raining outside will be happy what ever happens.

Reg

Jeezo, another curve ball. They really are making a bit of a pigs ear of this eh!!

Normally, i'd have said outdoors all day long - as i'd said before, in previous years, all the best stuff has been outside at Ingilston.

In this case though - i'm going to guess that most of the best stuff will be inside, with the outside being more of an 'overflow'..... so with that in mind, I think my vote goes with inside too.

On the plus side, if theres stuff outside - at least it give an excuse to go take a look if the weathers nice :)

I'm up for either to be honest and can see the benefits of both but with the snow recently I'll say indoor is probably a better shout.

Dazz

So far 4-0 for inside, and I'm leaning that way too. We can still venture outside if it's a nice day.

That's good inside, don't think i would like the car to get dirty after all the time i will be putting in cleaning it.:o.k:

Erik.....I asked for sun for my wedding and got it. I asked for sun for my holiday last week and got it. I have asked for dry but not too hot for the SCS. It'll happen.

Hey just noticed the thread again

I will definitely be up for coming down to the SECC seeing as its on the doorstep of where I work lol

I was up for bringing my car down to show but the last few months have been pretty bad. I've been in hospital so the car has taken a back seat for now and what sucks is the DVLA has taken my licence away for now, due to me having had brain surgery.:-(.

I was going to get the car detailed and cleaned but for now it's stuck on the drive

I will definitely come down to the stand and say hello :)

Okey doke, latest from Sharon @ SCS is that SECC are requesting some additional info on cars/owners for insurance/'elf n safety purposes. This will only be required for club stand cars, so I will be PMing those owners for some basic details (full name, contact number, car reg etc) once I've sorted through what info I already have at home. I won't be home until the end of next week though, so don't hold your breath waiting for the PM!

Can we still go to the SECC show on the Saturday? Martin do you need my detail if so will PM you the info.

Yes, Saturday will still be the set-up day for the stand. Anyone wanting to show up early on the Sunday is still welcome to do it that way too. The show will be 10am-4.30pm on the Sunday.

I think it's just full names and contact numbers I need off everyone, most of you I have a photo of the car so can get the reg/model etc easily enough. Like I said, I've got a proper list at home so once I see that I can confirm what I need from everyone to complete the form.
