Hi All,
I've recently ordered my Audi S4 Avant with an approximate delivery of the beginning of March. Unfortunately I'm skiing until the 3rd of March so it means I'll likely have to wait until the 10th to collect my new beauty. This also happens to be my 30th birthday, so it'll be a cracking birthday present!

My car history is:
- Nissan Micra, 1.0l in purple. Did my street cred absolutely no good whatsoever, but I got it for free from my grandparents so cannot complain at all. Has a load of problems with it, but it gave me my freedom so I can't complain too much.
- Seat Ibiza, 1.2l in red. Great little car that did me well for 3 years or so. Only issue I had with it were the coil packs constantly broke (known problem), but apart from that it was great and ferried me backwards and forwards to RAF Halton, RAF Cosford, and RAF Leeming at the beginning of my RAF career.
- VW Scirocco GT 2.0 TSi in Viper Green. My favourite car to date by a country mile. Bought after my second tour of Afghan I had a strong connection with this car from start to sale and was very sad indeed to see it go in April last year. Modifications installed were: Neuspeed P-Flo Induction kit, APR Carbino Stage 2 intake pipe, Whiteline Anti-lift kit, Powerflex Engine Mount Inserts, and both a Revo and APR Stage 1 remap. This gave me much better throttle response, handling under power (reducing understeer significantly) and a peak power improvement of 265BHP and 330lb/ft of torque. Loved this car so much, but unfortunately had to sell when I left the RAF as I needed something more economical.
- Mercedes C 220D in silver. Has done everything I bought it for exceedingly well. The only issue is what I bought it for is very, very boring. I needed something that was fairly quick, reliable, comfortable on long journeys, safe, and most importantly, economical. As a result, the car is also very boring and I can't wait to get rid.
- Just ordered my new S4 Avant and can't wait for it to arrive. I've gone for Daytona Grey, Black Leather (I wimped out of getting the Magma Red - not sure if I'll regret it yet), Electric Seats and Mirrors with Auto-Dim, Storage Pack, Comfort and Sound Pack, Light and Vision Pack, and Privacy Glass. Paying £3k deposit and £454pcm from Cambridge Audi. I wish I could have stretched my budget for the Sports Diff and the Active Dampers, but I just can't. I also wish Audi just did the adaptive cruise as an individual option rather than that stupid pack that contains blind-spot detection, and lane keep assist, etc. I just do not see the need for such options but the adaptive cruise would be really useful.
