Thinking about fitting an after market sat nav system to A4 3.0L 02 reg.

Views please.

Looking for DVD based system, Europe wide with largish screen, stand alone or integrated.

Hi,

I would rekomend going for an alpine setup, I had the alpine IVA 300 sreen and the new nve 099 navi in my A4. The alpine system is very good, easy to use and gives great sound quality, and you can watch dvd's!!

I have fitted kenwood systems and pioneer's in the past, and they are both very good, but not as fast as the alpine.

Pioneer's avic x1-2 is due out and is a very good unit, but unless you have a changer fitted you will be forever taking the map disc in and out!!
