Hi, just got myself a 2017 S5 cabriolet and joined the forum yesterday. It's fully loaded with practically everything except keyless entry, so I think that might be a plus point for security? Looking through the forums at various anti theft measures and at the OBD Portector in particular, does anyone know if having this fitted will cause problems with the remaining warranty? Is there still a discount code for forum members too? Also anyone have any opinions on the best tracker for this model? Thanks for taking the time to read.

Im a registered fitter for the https://www.obdportector.com and it does not void your warranty as its attached to the loom of the OBD port. No cutting or splicing into any wires is required.

I got refused warranty work on my S7 MMI because I had the OBD Protector fitted.
Not because it voided the warranty, but because it couldn’t be removed......
