S5 front parking sensors

What am I doing wrong? My newly purchased S5 has front and rear parking sensors and a reversing camera, the front sensors do not activate until I press the parking button which also turns on the reversing camera, all my previous cars with front sensors operated automatically below a certain speed so why don't they on the S5?

Is there a setting somewhere for this? If there is I can't find it!

Found the answer, looks like the front sensors do not activate automatically at low speed, thats how Audi designed the system.
