Hi,

Picked up this beauty a few weeks ago and I thought I’d start a new thread. I’ve been busy lately so only just had chance to put this online (I’ve been writing it in my notes on my phone) but the bits I’ve changed already I’ll put in here too as some of you may find it useful

First couple of weeks of owner ship:


Rear light cluster failed (2 leds) pain in the ****!!! Managed to find a replacement for £30! Happy days

S Tronic gearbox service at a cost of £225 but price aside the box does feel a lot smoother now

few vcds tweaks I managed to complete. I added the secret menu, drive select, US running lights and coded out the reverse error so I could install led bulbs

Being able to select sport and using the manual shifter option is a nice combo

Had the windows tinted back and front, looks miles better.

Went on a spending spree, Ordered 25mm H&r lowering springs as my front has snapped

Managed to pick up a set of the Q5 brembo 4 pot calipers for the 345 discs so these should be a nice oem upgrade along with the Porsche macan air scoops which are on the way too

Will put pictures on when fitted

Got the Q5 calipers fitted with the macan air scoops and all I can say is wow!!

Had the car lowered, chrome trims wrapped in black, alloys refurbished in black and my old honeycomb grill fitted

sorry to bump an old thread but I have the same callipers and want to get EBC yellow stuff pads but not sure what year to search are the diesels different to the petrol SQ5s?
