S4 wheel spacers & springs

I've got h&r springs and 10mm hubcentrics on the rear, 19" standard alloys and the rear caught badly on Dunlop sp sport maxx in 255/35.
Now running same setup with 255/35 Michelin pilot alpin 3 winters and there's loads of room on the rear.
Just goes to show how 2 tyres of the same size but different makes or models can run completely differently
