S4 Keyring....yay Or Nay?

Minor thread revival, thought you might like... Just back from a navigational rally around Italy, I got to drive Imola the other day, the old oval and the current track. It was meant to be a parade lap, but we ended up going for it. What a hoot... came away with this...

Right idea (handy for pulling key out), right colour, but wrong insignia - completely wrong country what were you thinking about? Or are you getting a Masser soon? Italy is a smart place to holiday/drive in though, as long as you watch out for the bad guys with high leather boots and "lollipops" sticking out of the top of them!

It was a great week, got to drive Imola and Modena too, as well as have a police escorted parade through Turin... that was interesting. I've returned home a lot more... energetic in my driving style!

I found in general, if you came upon a bit of bad parking and the road had narrowed right down, in my hired car I was a bit concerned about scraping it, so went through throttle points slowly after being forced on by following traffic tooting horns solidly - only to look back to see the cause of the manic tooting stopped and not risking driving through the narrow gaps, very typical of drivers in Italy all talk and no action - and the super wide sports cars out on Sundays, made a change from the lycra clad swarms of cyclists on the roads on Saturdays - probably some of the same people! Leaping out onto dual carriage ways/motorways was always interesting as well as letting cars and trucks move back out from layby sorts of things on motorways.
