Just about to put my S4 convertible up for sale and the roof has started playing up.
When I lower the roof the:-
windows drop,
the roof releases from the front frame
the front section moves back/up as normal. The rear part of the roof (rear screen)folds forward
the rear compartment cover opens fully (but then drops slowly)
But that’s as far as it goes. !!
The roof doesn’t attempt to fold back into to rear compartment. There appears to be a slight “twitch” of frame movement but that’s it. !
(The roof will go back to the closers position again using the switch. )
Have tried the manual reset several times with no luck.
The roof light on dash flashes approx 10 times then goes out when ignition is turned on.
The engine is always running when I try to lower the roof with the switch.
Any ideas
