You're asking the standard clutch to carry an extra 100-150lb/ft of torque, they're simply not designed to be carrying that kind of power so going to wear out a lot quicker

The st3 is no longer available…the st3+ is a much better choice and became the most popular due to it nice drivability, high capacity and the fact it is the longest wearing unit in the marketplace for that car. The st3+ is nice to the flywheel surface (the st3 was not) and all are direct bolt-in with the OE flywheel. The st3+ is rated to 620 ft lbs.

That is the info I got from Spec Clutch

I've just had the Sachs performance clutch fitted at the end of December. Drives just like the standard setup. I'm still on standard map at the moment but I'm in for stage 1 tune on the 27th of this month so I'll see how it goes

How much was it all in if you don't mind me asking? Will be looking into it myself in the near future.

I supplied all the parts as. Around about £1400 fitted. That's with a new Dmf as well and all gaskets plus new rear crank oil seal, clutch fork etc.
