Hi all.
I'm having a bit of a nightmare with Audi main dealers at the minute regarding the above service.
The car is now at 46k miles and 6 years so I want to get the belt replaced.
All other service work is done myself however I always like belts done by dealers. So I've rang my three locals and all are miles apart with two not even knowing what belt it was.
1st dealer emailed straight back saying the S/C belt, parts, labour and VAT was approx £124. Can't remember the exact figures.
Second said I had to speak to parts as it wasn't on the service system. Parts quoted £310 for the belt, labour and VAT (1.5 hours labour I believe).
Finally the third I had to speak to a service manager as her computer was showing only a V-belt at £114 parts labour VAT and she couldn't confirm if it was the right belt.
The service managed finally got back and quoted now £418 for the charger belt all in.
Can anyone confirm which is right? Considering the engines been about for severally years now I can't believe they don't know what they're even quoting.
Thanks.
