I am fitting one to an LCR tomorrow, full kit so will take some pictures showing it in its full Glory

did a stage 2 upgrade on an LCR yesterday, and it went from normal silicon TIP, Neuspeed filter on Revo1 on 237bhp/260lbft to 285bhp/294lbft with 80mm TIP/JR and stage 2 - Same Boost :)

Sorry if I've missed this being covered in another thread but have there been any comparison tests done on the same car between the V1 and V2 TIP? I'm just trying to work out whether an upgrade will benefit me.

yes.. V2 outflows V1 everywhere and the reduction in initial torque seen from V1, is eliminated on V2 which gains torque sooner and lasts longer. V2 being 23% larger cross sectional area internal bore with no internal lumps and bumps/joins.

So do you want a guinea pig for before and after runs again if I buy one ;)

I dont need any more guinee pigs mate... I fit/tests these frequently.. They work extremely well.. :)
Dont expect much more top end... there's not much difference there, but the 3" reduction in initial torque is eliminated and only increased from the ones I have fitted and logged etc... As posted in the results in this thread.

I know all that Bill, you know I'm not after any kind of a deal. I'm just saying that If I buy one i'll come to yours for a before and after run just to see what difference it does make. The V2 could make the difference that I need when I try to hit 300bhp next year.

I just wondered if you had done a V1 vs V2 test on the same car with graphs?

One of the best modifications I've ever bought and I've bought a fair few! On par with fitting a filter on my old civic for grin factor plus great service, cheers Bill.

Have you read the first post at all? This kit is only for K04 turbo'd cars unfortunately.

Hi Bill,

Could you also add the heatshield on your ebay shop please? I'd like to purchase one for my 2000 S3 that has recently had the 3" tip and filter fitted from you :) Sounds great btw!

Cheers

Hey Bill! (Or whoever else has the information!)

Is this kit compatible with Non-ESP APY engines? If not, i've seen another other Badger5 kit with small adapter hoses, can I buy this kit separately to use with this TIP/filter?

i've recently fitted the v3 tip to my standard s3 8l. the oe tip looked ok, and the car had no issues.

the v3 tip has improved the car a lot. now revs and pulls through the gears much quicker.

very happy :)
