Just a quick update on my change. After selling my car to Dream car giveaways I was contacted through this group by the guy who won it. Lucky guy bought one ticket at a tenner and scooped the car.
Anyway onto the new purchase, the RS5 is truly amazing. Before i owned the S3 i had a B7 RS4 which I loved. I also thought the S3 once id finished with it was equally amazing. The RS5 is probably not much quicker than the S3 but it feels altogether more special. The handling is truly amazing, but the best thing is the sound it makes. On downshifts, it revs matches and just sounds awesome but equally on upshifts it's seamless. The whole package is just so premium. On a downside, it costs twice whats the S3 did on fuel and if it goes wrong im screwed...lol

Nice. But I think I prefer your S3 over the RS5 though.

But that V8 is a wonderful thing.

How does that work then? they just bought your car, then raffled it off?

Did they pay what you had it listed for? As I'm thinking of selling mine, I wonder if it's worth contacting them? But I don't want the whole, "We'll offer you what WBAC will give you"

Paid the asking price minus £50 as the mot was shortish so that covers a new one. Didn't even drive it,
