I have an A3 (52 Plate) and am looking at replacing the wing mirror covers. I have seen inpro ones for sale on ebay and they seem good, however i'm not sure if they will look too artificial. They seem to be very shiny. Does anyone know how they fare next to the genuine Audi ones? Are the genuine ones that shiny? When purchasing from Audi do you get the choice of either matt or shiny mirror finish?
Also i am considering ones with a matt finish, however cannot find them for the 8L shape. They only seem to be avaliable for the new shape. Anyone know where i can find a set? Also am i right in saying the mirror fittings are different between the 96-2001 and 2001-2003 models?
