Bud, I'm a construction manager not a bank manager!
The car is fine, it goes well as it is so I'll not be going elsewhere as Revo have a good reputation .. for now .
Understood, as long as your happy with it

Revo maps are going to be as good as any. @Kristijan Sabljar has been testing extensively with Revo and been getting some great times.A mapped Rs3 FL would be in the 7s for 62-124 so the difference should be fairly large, I would bin the revo map and go down the APR or MRC route

Good post, amazed at those times. Can see how even a tuned 3 would struggle in the real world.I was just looking at vbox numbers I saw while ago on stage 2 HO mk7R and very impressive.
0-60 in 3.1
0-100 in 7.4
62-124 in 8.6
That's no slouch at all. Hence why min difference in normal driving speeds. Top end power will be where your RS3 would pull away. I agree though in this case if the s3 had upgraded IC in summer that would be huge advantage.
Understated as always @Doc. Goes like s*** off a shovel you meanRevo maps are going to be as good as any. @Kristijan Sabljar has been testing extensively with Revo and been getting some great times.
I'm currently running Revo stage 1 on the TTRS and it goes very well.
I don't have a GTR tho...
A LOT of the owners in here run momentum too. Don’t know why they can’t just dial up to 98 map with you running momentum, surely it is your choice/decision
No mate, I've got to use a couple of tanks of V Power before re-setting it.So have you had your car switched over to the 98 map?
I’d be interested to hear your opinion if it actually makes a difference switching to V-power.
When I ran my previous Golf R stage 2 I found it actually went better on Momentum than v-power.
I really do hope it’s as simple as that but look forward to your opinion

£1.30 a litre vs £1.50 though ... deep pockets needed!Ok.
I spoke to a Revo technician, Chris, who was very knowledgeable, professional and patient.
Apparently my car is set on 95 ron, the lowest setting, because I use Momentum but when I've run a couple of tanks of V Power then the setting will be raised to 98 ron, 100 Ron being the highest setting. Revo trialled their engines on V Power and said that I'd get better gains so that's what I'm gonna do. At the moment my car will be between 440-450 bhp but with the more consistent V Power, it should make 480-485.
Chris said the Momentum ron can fluctuate whereas V Power is more stable..
I'll give it a go..
I don't drive it daily so it's not an issue bud..£1.30 a litre vs £1.50 though ... deep pockets needed!
TX.
I'm sorry, but Revo are talking complete b0ll0x. I rate them well but no idea why they have your car set on 95 RON when you're using Momentum 99. As @Powerenhancer commented in great detail, he's never seen Momentum drop below 99 RON. Also, MRC are very happy with it and I've had no issues.
Just my input here. I went from a stage 2 s3 which was immensely quick. I then bought a pfl rs3 got it mapped immediately of Mrc ( just what you do isn’t it! ) My s3 wasn’t slow by any means, by the time I sold it, it was approaching 400bhp whereas my rs3 came out at 428bhp but with a tonne more torque and the difference is literally night and day. This is 19 months ago but I can literally still remember getting in after the remap, noticing the difference and thinking **** a brick this is quick. I guess I’m kinda saying an s3 stage 2 is obviously a serious machine, but a mapped rs3 is totally on the next level.
The “more to have” part will be when you have the car tuned to the 98 map... saying you have to use V Power is a load nonsense... I’d be heading back tomorrow and saying you want the 98 map loaded and stop messing around with the 95 one!
Completely agree, get 98 map which is obviously going to make a difference “even” with Momentum. Surely you would do that 1st as otherwise you do two tanks of v power have map changed, notice the difference and only ever use v power.

Which to me makes it even more bizarre that a Revo agent would even bother with a 95 ron file in the UK, who would sacrifice 40 bhp to save a couple of poundTrying to keep up with all this . So to make summary from all this.
My rs3 was first rs3 with Revo 1 beta
Stock had 413hp/510nm
Stock 0-62mph 3.9 sec
Stock 62-124mph 9.5 sec
This car biggest enemy is heat. If iat gets up u loose timing. Loosing timing = less power.
So i tested all 95 mode (for bad fuel) 440hp . After switching 98 file car is mental like u flashed it twice.
On 95 ron car is getting heat much quicker, egt is raising so its not really good even for atock car .
98 ron i use most of time
470-480hp/580-600nm
0-60mph 3.3 average
62-124mph fastest on 15 celzius 7.8 on 28 celIus 8.0 , 35 celzius 8.2
After 10 pulls car has same performances its hot but not too hot. Also car has protection so when iat gets high timing drops = less power.
Warming car, thenleaving your car on sun parked 15 min on 30 celzius iat is 60 celsius i was shocked . So yes when u start driving it dropa but its so f... Dam sensitive to heat.
On 100 mode on 15 celzius
62-124mph 7.6 sec 7.8 sec on 22 celzius
95 ron is really weak so at least 98 i recomned. Now i did 10000km with revo and ultra happy, doing track , drag, fast road and here is 35+ now.
Any way go for log and change mode
Maybe logs werent good for 98 ron abd just to be safe he decidced to do 95 mode until he changes fuel (i dont know fuel in UK which is best )Which to me makes it even more bizarre that a Revo agent would even bother with a 95 ron file in the UK, who would sacrifice 40 bhp to save a couple of pound

21c .... we’ve had above 21c in winter here.
I bought my car in winter a couple of months ago and apparently we’re heading for a hot summer, it’s not unusual for high 20s to mid 30’s, so not looking forward to being robbed of my power.
How do these cars cope in really hot climates where temps are consistently 35c+, surely Audi would have thought about design for these areas.
APR have just released their intercooler and they claim a 25hp atw increase just by bolting it in.
I was up at Crail earlier and managed an 11.5 on the 1/4 mile. Slight headwind if that makes a difference ha. All 4 wheels were lighting up by all accounts at launch from those watching. Be sure to confirm exact details Monday or Tuesday. Really wanted 11.3 but hey ho
Was our performing the Revo car too with an updated intercooler. Saw him record high 11s twice and a time in the 12s. Supposedly running 485.
FFX? I was there too and saw an rs3 going down the strip a few times
