Hi there, first of all this is my first post so hi to everyone!

Ive just bought an S3 sportback which is on coilovers, now ive noticed the headlight aim seems to be a bit low...can anybody tell me why this is?

From my 8L S3 days, I remember that you had to code the ecu so that it "knows" what level looks like. The front on sportback seems to sit higher than the back as standard and many people reduce the front height more than the back when fitting aftermarket suspension kits. What you are saying, would indicate that either this leveling was not done or your auto-leveling lights don't work.

What type of headlights do you have? If xenon then you need to recalibrate them using VCDS to reset the zero point. I had to do this when I lowered my car.

Yeah they're the xenon/drl lights, I seem to have sorted it though

The rear level sensor had been put wrong judging by this image:

And after switching it over it looked like this:

Changed that over and had them reset with VCDS by a mate and all seems miles better, and they now dip up and down when first turned on!

Result! Sounds like it was 'sensing' that you were driving up-side-down :)

Hopefully this may help anyone else who has the same issue :)
