S3 speed at 3000 rpm?

What's the speed at 5th gear and 3000 rpm of S3 209 hp and S3 225 hp at 6th gear and 3000 rpm?

In an A3,
5th @ 3000rmp will be approx 60mph
6th @ 3000rmp will be approx 70mph

power has nothing to do with it and seeing as they use the same gearbox should be the same as an S3

well mine in 6th at 3100rpm is 80mph.

I think S-models should have longer gears, non-S Quattro-s have too short gears for serious HP

80mph in 6th is at approx 3500rpm for me.

I've found that I generally gain 10mph for every 500rpm (3rd through to 6th at least) - all very approximate of course - but I don't generally drive studying my revs Vs speed!!!

I'm tempted to go out and find a long, straight and quiet road now!!

I used to look at this, I always remember my mk 3 XR3i used to sit at almosy 4000rpm at 70 in 5th, used to sound like it was reving it's boo locks off...lol

I'm pretty sure mine does 3k rpm at 70 in 6th. Pretty handy really, because the boost comes in at just over 3k.

Boost comes in at over 3k! Mines around 2400ish.

Looked the other day and 3600rpm in 6th doing 90mph, still in the 3000rpm range haha.

Mine read 75mph at 3000rpms in 6th 100mph at 4000rpms, didn't see what rev's it was doing at 120mph officer honest, All done on private roads i must stress....lol
