S3 Service and Remap

Hi guys,

My remapped S3 is going in for a oil change service but I want to make sure they don't remove the Revo S1 map. I know I cant stop them if they need to do any software updates (i wouldn't want to stop them either) but in doing this they may write over the map.

Can I take any logs with VCDS, i.e. 0-60, requested boost etc to check once its back that the remap is still on it. Like doing a before and after run? I know I will be able to feel it if it has gone, but just want to have some hard evidence/figures!

Any advice?

ECU updates are very rare

I never had any updates on my S3 over 3 years.

However the MK5 Gti had several and I had at least 2 or 3 reflashes which was obvious when you drove the car home as it felt flat as a fart.
My local REVO guy would reflash the ECU with the REVO code FOC so it wasnt a big deal. Just keep a note of the settings so you dont have mess around logging again.
