S3 rear diff

Attempting to do my rear diff side seals. I have unbolted the drive shaft and pushed it out the way to find this, anybody know how to get it out as I believe the seals are behind this flange?

There's an Allen key in the middle mate

That's what I was hoping but no Allen key

How deep is the hole?
I assumed it was the same setup as the front end with an Allen key securing.

In the photo you can see the back of the hole so not deep at all. Been googling and not to clear yet but I think I need to get a tool. You bolt a bar across the flange using the driveshaft bolt holes and either tap it out or pull it out

If there's no Allen key it must just have a snap ring on and pop out with a lever bar?
I've just had a Google and most seem to have the Allen key setup though!

It must have a circlip on the end of the splines like a cv joint. I thought it had an Allen key, I asked a vw Audi specialist a while back what sort of job it was and he said it's an Allen key. Well seals aren't going in today anyway
