Finally got my S3 rear Bumper Conversion done!

After a nightmare the other month where I was gutted to find out I had purchased a 3door defuser by mistake, I'm so glad now that it's all done. So S3 Front & Rear Bumpers with Votex Skirts.
Next on the list, coilovers and wheels I suspect.

Gave her a good clean, and clay ready to take some pics today but it looks like the weather is against me.

Thanks to ~RS~, N8, warrenlord, Lingy for all your help guys.

Glad to hear - get more photos up as this is something I'm considering doing! :)

Nice one! looks nice George...glad its all turned out good for you mate.

As said though george get some more pics up ! bet it looks awesome!

Edit ! what did you end up getting for the exhaust then ?

That looks lovely - I'm very jealous.
If the weather where you are is anything like here, then we won't be getting any photo's today! It's horrible out there.

Loos very cool, George. Love your arty pic, but like the guys say, we need to see MORE, lol!

A couple of pics for those that requested them.
Cleaned/Clayed then Polished using the Werkstat Acrylic Kit from Polished Bliss, very happy with the result.

Looks good mate. Have you got any before photos???

Also, how you finding the colour match between the rear bumper and rear wing?? Yours is the same colour as mine and I'm not the happiest about my match.

light colour paint is a mare of a job colour matching its never exactly the same

Tell me about it mate. The mismatch still irritates me everyday.
It's not at all noticeable at the front bumper/bonnet/wings and looks spot on. So does the rear bumper against the tailgate. But from the side the rear bumper against the rear wing does my nut in!

common thing that is mate i see loads of cars like that everyday in my trade , mine is like that too but the front bumper against the wings/bonnet the bumper is darker red

Yeah, I've got pics of the car in it's original state, but just the same as any sliver sportback s-line.
Colour match is perfect, I did spend a good few months finding a bodyshop I was happy with so did my research.
Did they just spray your panels or was the car with the bodyshop when spraying?

The guys who did mine (Peel's Motorkraft - Specialists in Paintwork/Bodywork for your Sports, Classic and Prestige cars) said that even with the correct paint code, the variations in colour can be quite a lot depending on which audi factory originally painted it, the batch of paint which was used, so many variables that they wanted my car at the bodyshop when spaying the panels so they could guarantee the best match.

Yesterday was the first day that I've been able to give it a real good clean, and inspect, and I'm very happy indeed with the finish.

looks tidy mate well done , new rims lower and it will be on to a winner

yep... already got N8 to quote me happy on some coilovers, but I'd love new rims but don't know what would suite it.
Do like the Black Edition wheels, but who knows.

Going to be a Dad in a few months, so happy to go a bit steady with my spending.
