S3 Rear Bumper Conversion (again, sorry)

OK, I know this has come up time, and time again, but despite searching I can't get a definative answer to what I need to change, to add a S3 Rear Vallance/Defuser to my 06 Sportback S-Line.

Pretty sure you just need the S3 valance, im picking up the 06 bumper tommorow and want to put the S3 valance on too.

Not from what I've been told... Need a complete S3 Sportback Rear Bumper, hence the thread to try and get confirmation.

Nah, he's right mate..... if you've already got a 2006 s-line bumper then you should be able to fit an S3 valance/diffuser on it.

Didn't clock that you had an 06 s-line, as the bumper you linked to in your PM is an 09 standard/s-line rear bumper which will not accept an S3 diffuser.

What look do you prefer... the S3 rear or the facelift/09 s-line/black edition rear??

yep my cars an 06 Sportback S-Line, which I'm told consists on 3 elememts (main bumper, lower bumper, then valence)

You need the lower part and the diffuser (basically, everything except the main bumper).

Do you know the part numbers for the valance that will fit?
