S3 (or A3) Reversing camera too dark?

I have this on my S3, but find the picture very dark when the sun goes down.

I suspect a problem, because I know from previous (non-Audi) cars that they can compensate for the lack of light, presumably by upping gain/ISO equivalent.

Anyone else find this, or is mine faulty?

I only come out at night, combined with stealth Daytona means I'm invisible
But seriously...
Car is great, couple of stone chips grrr but can't blame Audi for those!

Amazingly haven't seen yours, think we're operating in parallel universes or something

I know right, I'm never invisible - for better or for worse. It's good for road rage as it calms you right down lol

To answer your question, sounds like a fault (or the car needs cleaning!!)
I'm actually surprised by the performance at night. Not as good as daytime of course, but better than I would have expected.
