S3 OEM brake callipers

hi all,

My 8P s3 has started to suffer from a binding off/side rear calliper.
Just looking for some info on finding a replacement.

Checked the options sticker and the s3 has a PR code of 1KW (310mm discs), and the part number for the calliper I need is 8J0615424E.

I'd like to know the brand of the OE calipers, are they single or double piston and the piston diameters.. Euro have 50% off on brakes this weekend so I need to grab em quick.. any help appreciated.

As far as i know they used three different brands of caliper like TRW and ATE but will be single piston

Could be worth looking in classifieds as a few guys are breaking cars
