S3 LED Interior Lighting Pack

Has anyone else found that their LED interior lighting pack has stopped working when the headlights are off? I’m absolutely sure they used before the following happened:

I recently had a weird message come up on the MMI about changes to the sat nav that would affect postcodes etc. MMI then shut down for several minutes and then rebooted. No obvious difference (although now picks up text messages from BT connected phone, this hasn’t worked previously and I’d not updated the phone). BUT, I’m sure that prior to this my interior light pack was always on regardless of what the headlights were doing.

Anyone had a similar experience?

When ypu say always on, do you mean the lights were on, even when light outside?

Mine are only on once the sensor recognizes the dark

Not sure about the PFL, but isn't there a setting in the MMI for this?

Thanks for your replies. Yes, all LED ambient lighting (foot wells, MMI touch, cup holders, foot wells etc.) was working regardless of outside lighting conditions.

The MMI allows the setting of global or zoned light brightness levels but no control as to when its on or off.

Okay, never heard about that before. If my light contact is at AUTO it is off when light and on when dark.

I’m starting to wonder if I’ve imagined the lights being on all the time!
