S3 headlights playing up

HI guys,

Hope someone can help, sometimes my xenons on my S3 when turned on will level perfectly with no problems. The other times they will be on the floor and dont level up?

any ideas what this can be?

Make sure the sensors are ok on the arms (1 front passenger 1 rear drivers) and also the connectors on the motors in the headlights

You can also do a manual adjust if you want need too a longnosed screwdriver

Yes, the electrical plugs are just inboard of the main headlight units. The adjustment motors then just twist and pull out. Be careful not to snap the adjuster rod though!!

I dismantled mine about a year ago then stripped and cleaned the linear pot on the board. All has been hunky dorey since then.
