S3 - Have I made the right decision?

Why would anybody want a depressing colour like grey, even if it's made to look fancy by being metalic? It's the colour of tarmac or undercoat and renders a car almost invisible. OK so executive types may think a city suit colour car looks important and serious but they are all doing it, even sales reps. in basic BMW diesel 3 Series.
On-trend white is going to look SO last year next year.

In fairness, they do give you paint and wheels.

LOL, I know they do. What winds me up with all new cars now, is that different colour paint and decent wheels are extras. Don't get me wrong, my S3 wheels are mint and I think they are good and I love the Ibis, however I would not pay 4 figures for paint, which coming from me, is somewhat hypocritical considering what I wasted on my Subaru!
