S3 Driver's side mirror stolen! Will one from an A6/RS6 fit?

Hi all, I'm new to the forum although been lurking for a while,

Yesterday I woke up to the pleasure of having my driver's side mirror completely ripped off my 2007 S3 (see pic).

I'm now trying to get a new mirror (not bothered about another chrome one going to put black ones on).

Does anyone know if mirrors from either an A4 or A6/RS6 will fit an 8P S3?

man I thought they'd stopped this crap now, how infuriating.

I have a set of 3dr ones if interested, slight pita to refit them which I can offer fitting service aswell, but were your electric folding & did it have dimming glass?

I have managed to get one from a scrapyard.
Got some black covers for both sides, let's hope that will deter the thieving scum!
Gonna fit the new one tomorrow.

I've now plasti dipped mine both sides looks ok. Hope the thieving scum will leave alone!
