S3 clutch broke

So with a bit of help from the boys where is the best place to get a sachs and dmf clutch for my poor old S3 .

And what sort of £ am i looking for it fitted ?

i got my clutch from APS, APS | Independent Specialist | Audi | Volkswagen | Porsche have a word with Ed, top bloke really helpful!
and i got my DMF & release bearing from here, Car Parts and Car Accessories - Buy Parts By , cheapest by far that was found
all depends on fitting, its a 5 hour job with alignment needed after as they have to drop the subframe, think i paid around the £300 mark but cant remember off the top of my head

sounds good to me mate i have a 15% discount with revo as i attended the coffee morning so if you need yours done asap ill ask if it applys for 2 cars lol

Do you reckon I need a fancy Sachs clutch for a stage 1 remap?

Considering my options.

I'm not a track day guy (Got a GSXR for that!) just want decent responsiveness and reliability on the road when I need it.

basically... yes, the oem clutch is rubbish and will wear out very quickly with a mapped S3

if your going to take the gear box out you might as well go the full hog and have a sachs clutch put in .

And my clutch is lighter then the oe clutch now .

Where are you all based?i had my clutch changed ready for stage 2+ near me in leeds,£850 parts and fitted give or take a few coppers and it handles the power spot on.Sachs/RS4 parts.
