Hey guys, hope everyone is well on this amazing day,
I was wondering would a s3 brake set up go onto a 1.8t as a simple replacement at all?
I'm not to sure as I have the fwd 150bhp not the quatro one?
Any help would be really great
Thanks have a awesome day!

I believe the front will fit out the box. In fact its the same caliper just a different carrier. The rear will fit with a 6mm spacer between the hub and the carrier (cant remember if it is 6mm exactly.. It was some time ago now).

Yes mate, 8l S3 312mm discs, pads, calipers and carriers directly bolt onto a fwd 150bhp 1.8t as you have the 288mm setup.

sweet cheers guys so no fabrication is needed? :) made my days guys

None at all for the fronts. You can get away with fitting s3 discs, pads and carriers whilst using you're original caliper.

sweet what aboout the rears? and could i use the calipers for the fronts i'm sorry for the stupidness I have no spanner skills at all :( but im learning or trying to :)

I got a full front brake setup for sale soon

As mentioned, for the rear you will need to fabricate a 6mm spacer between the hub and the carrier to fit s3 rear brakes to an a3 fwd

ok cheers dude silly question would normal wheel spacers do? or if not any idea what works best :) really appreciate your help bud :)
