S3 Alarm Sound

My alarm went off the other day cause the sunroof was left open.

I was suprised to hear the alarm for the first time as it was just a semi loud bleep intermittantly.

This i dindt think was very loud, especially when compared to my previous A3, which was the sound of the horn.

Is this normal peeps?

Yes I think its normal and its to make it comply with German EU regulations which don't allow alarams to be any louder than a mouse sqeaking which has a sore throat.

maybe previous owner had it hooked up 2 the horn or somtihng, unless u bought it brandnew


Jus do what ive done, put a clifford in

The older models use the horn as the alarm. Much more effective!
