S3 8P Passenger Side Headlamp Wash

Hi all,

During the harsh winter My Headlamp washers froze, and of course when I tried to spray Ice had formed around the nozzles. As a result the inners for the nozzle came flinging out bounced off the windscreen and were lost for ever.

Now when I spray my headlamp washers I get spray on one side - and an uncontrolled burst of water at the other side which soaks everywhere (Look out pedestrians!!)

Now I can see the part number 25 Lift Cylinder / Jet 1x 8E0 955 101 C 51.83

Seems a bit steep - anyone know if I could source this anywhere else cheaper? Its a lot of money for something I've yanked the fuse for meantime

best getting the relevant used washer dont think you can get the washer split any further down

Just buy the washer jet complete, in grand scheme of things its not that much is it when compared to how much we're paying for fuel these days, at least that way you'd have peace of mind.

or message anyone breaking a black edition or an s3 facelift on ebay and make them a cash offer for the pair most will accept

Not sure if this will work , but how about modifying a garden micro irrigation nozzle.
I used one for pressure take off for a boost gauge.
