S3 8L relentless mani and down pipe

Hi guys I have been looking for a post that tells you where to bolt the down pipe (angle wise) using the play on the clearance between the turbo and down pipe, I remember seeing someone saying that you either need to tighten with the dp pushed all the way up or down so that the pipe won't foul on the under side of the car, any ideas? Thanks

You'll need to push it down then tighten it. They normally foul on the transmission tunnel if anywhere

mine used to hit the exhaust tunnel till i had it modified slightly,
Mine was fitted to a fwd mk4 golf 1.8t agu tho

I have tightened it pushed down but it seems to be severely fouling on the steering rack, i think i will have to adjust the down pipe so that it is pushed up, has anyone else had this problem? cheers
