S3 8L exhaust

The centre silencer has a slight blow so was thinking of taking it out and fitting a straight through pipe , whats the diameter of the centre section and anybody done this

I am breaking a 1.8T Quattro. I believe the exhaust is the same fitment.

The centre pipe has about 200 miles use since it was made by Gillys Unit. The weld is very impressive.

Just thought I'd post this and might save you some cash in the long run. It's a turbo back with only a rear silencer on the tip.

I think the a3q is smaller than the s3, which is 63mm I believe.
