s3 6 disc changer connection

Anyone know what kind of connection it is? I know very little about sound stuff - so I don't even really know what to call it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, does anyone know if a changer from the golf mk4 would fit the Audi's standard cables?

No the VW's use a different connection entirely. You need the 13 pin connection (only 10 pins are used, but it looks like this:

Check at the back of the passenger side cubbyhole towards the front of the car past the rear seat belt reel, the changer bus cable is clipped to the bodywork here:
