Running 18inch 9.5J Rears and 8.5J Fronts

Quick question guys, I;m after a set of 3SDM 00.6 wheels in a staggered fitment. I'm currently lowered on H&R 50mm springs all round and have 10mm spacers up front and 12mm on the rear.

Will the 9.5j fit the rear without spacers with 225/40/18 tyres (slight stretch) and lowered 50mm?

I'm after the stanced look but I'm also having visions of it looking pants only lowered this, any advise or opinions welcome!

I tried 3sdm 0.06 on my a3 and they scrubbed quite bad at the back, mine would have been lower than 50mm id say. I was running 225 40 18 with no spacers, I've now bought another set of 8j all round and luckily no scrubbing. The wheels are now sold they were 9j or 9.5j not sure now

I had 3sdm 0.01s staggered figment on my a3. 215 tyres on the front and 225 tyres on the rear. I had no spacers as they simply would not fit and also had arch liners and rear bumper screws removed.
After a lot of playing around with tyres and coil overs I had no rubbing

Thanks a lot guys, this is helpful. I've hear me that having 225/35/18 tyres help with the 9.5J wheels but using spacers is still a no no as it would already be super wide.

Trust me mate you would def struggle to fit spaces on as there already very wide on the rear. To have absolutely no scrubbing probably a 215 on rear but depends how stretched you would want

You should look at eibach sportline for a stanced look, they lower 35-40mm rear and 45-50mm front.
