I am experiancing an intermittant fault whereby on occasion i hear a rumbling noise from the car.

Not sure what triggers it, but it comes and goes on it own accord.

I have no gearbox fault codes, no cluth slip, no feeling of vibrations or any juddering.

The car changes gears smoothly, and I have never had any warning messages on dash.

Stronic service was carried out March 2022 by Audi @96,000 miles.

DMF was changed last month prior to it making this noise.

I have had the car looked underneath by a local indy but he cant seem to find the cause.

anyone have any ideas please before i send it into the stealers.

i have a link to the video on youtube

I thought I had the same problem in mine when away on holiday a while ago. Eventually I realised there was nothing wrong at all, I was simply hearing different road noise from unfamiliar surfaces. Like yours. the noise came and went, and for me that was down to the road surface changing.

Thanks for the response @Cantata but mine is definitely not related to road surface. I drive on the same roads daily and it does it at various different points regardless of road surface.
In the video I attached im only travelling at approx 6-7mph
